Royal Containers provides custom and standardized corrugated packaging solutions and corrugated displays. Royal Containers is proud to be one of the corrugated converters using only 100% recycled containerboard in our products.

The Challenge:

Being in manufacturing for 40 years they excelled at customer relationships, business acquisitions and growth but their marketing initiatives were archaic in nature or non-existent.

The Royal Containers leadership team was busy and focused on what they do best; growing the company. With their business to run, staff to manage, sales to make, they didn’t have time or know-how to create and execute the marketing strategy. What they needed was a marketing team.

The Objectives:

To bring the company’s values, culture, and industry leadership that was established offline to online.

  • Integrate into the Leadership team to fully understand the brand, the history, and the values.
  • Launch a new website to capture and re-emphasize who they are and why they do what they do.
  • Create relevant platforms to reach customers, prospects, and provide the sales team with content to share.
  • Enhance communication internally and externally using technology with employees, suppliers, industry partners, and customers.
  • Create a visual asset to showcase vertical integration with Royal Container’s partners and sustainability of corrugated.
  • Promote key messages to targeted groups and audiences.

The Results:

  • Marketing Partners: The TSquared Marketing team became a part of the Royal Containers Leadership team. We work closely with the management team ensuring our messaging and branding are clear and concise across all our online communications. We have showcased the online community who Royal is, their values, their compassion in communities, and what drives them.
  • Website: Launched 2017, currently working on a major update. Website traffic has increased by 1100% since the launch date.
  • Social Media: Created 5 social media platforms, and educated the sales and management team on how to use social media to support their roles.
  • Communication: Using a content calendar, we plan our communications around time-sensitive events, topics relevant to the corrugated industry, and general company information to our suppliers, customers, and employees.
  • Video: Tell the sustainability and vertical integration story in a creative way. Use videos (how-to) to help customers use online assets with ease to engage on social media key messages around culture, innovative products, and the communities Royal serves.
  • Advertising/SEO: Increasing sales, increased engagement, and increased website traffic.
